As some of you may know Damian (the scorer) has just finished beating Sir Hubert Oppermans record of riding from PERTH to MELBOURNE. Damian finished the epic ride of 3,450 kms in 9 days 7 ½ hours…with an avg of 4 ½ hours sleep per night and spent the first 5 days riding into terrible headwinds up to 70kph!!! Then the breakthrough after riding for 23 hours made Pt Augusta and finally caught some tail winds, then rode 1200km on 4 hours sleep and eventually made Victoria and then on the last day averaged around 32 – 33km for the last 325kms…
If you would like to come along to a presentation night Fri 5th Dec, Argyle Way Wantirna 7.00pm $20.00 per head, Damian and the support team will be presenting photos, videos and talking about this ride. Tickets are limited to around 100 and the proceeds from the night will be going to an Orphanage in Uganda. Well done to all who rode last night. By the looks of things it was a good turnout and an enjoyable event.
66 riders wow, still not a record but a very good turnout none the less!
Keep up the good work, hopefully I can get down there to do my first race at Bushy Park for the year next week.
Cheers ScottyL
Thanks to Janine, Damian and all other helpers for doing a great job keeping things running.
Hi all,
Due to ’so’ much rain there will be No Racing on Saturday 8th, can you let any other riders know.
Points will start next Saturday, i look forward in seeing you all then.
Hope you all have a great weekend.

Racing will proceed as usual this Saturday Morning and next Wednesday afternoon.
For Cup Weekend there will be NO racing Saturday Morning the 1st November for the Pinnacle Crits.
If you were planning on getting tour bike looked at by Consto at Pinnacle Cycles, over Cup weekend, you might want to do it earlier. Pinnacle will be closed from Saturday 1st November to Tuesday 4th of November, giving Paul that much needed break.

Hello.
Last night capped off another successful night of racing. Numbers were well into the 50’s and despite the arctic temperatures the pace was hot hot hot!
A and C grades hit it out first. In A grade the Peacocks made it a father and son outing by dominating the podium with a 1st by young James and a 3rd by not so young Craig, separated only by Karl Peel.
C grades race was not as straight forward. With grade allocation up the creek, it was any ones guess who would rise to the top and take honours… SANDBAGGING honours. It was Dan B who rose to the top putting in faster times then half the B graders. Marcel Geelen and Jamie Nightingale rounding off places.
Then after a slight intermission with results it was time for grades B and D to head out for their punishment. This group was the largest, and full of newbies too, which made for some very interesting racing. I apologise if the results are out in these class’s, they look like it to me! Janine did a fantastic job with the first time slot, but I now know there’s no time for talking while doing the scoring, you will miss something.
B grades Peter Pink showed qualities that could well earn him a position in the A graders group, taking podium spot numero uno, while Russell King and Nick Kelly sprinted home for places 2 and 3.
Racing in D grade was just as fierce! With only a matter of seconds dividing the top couple of places these were the winners: 1st David Vavasseur, 2nd Matt Henderson, and 3rd Richard Toth.
Thanks for comming and we hope to see you Saturday, bright and early
Thanks to Janine Vavasseur for creating the results page, and doing the good timing last night. Results are UP.
Cheers ScottyL
